Our Story
Air Support HVAC was founded by Chayse Roth and Joe Alig, two Marines who brought military discipline to HVAC. Chayse served from 2001 to 2013, including as a project manager for the MARSOC Signature Management Program. Joe retired from USMC Reserves in 2024 with 20+ years of HVAC experience.
They launched Air Support in September 2023 to serve the Wilmington residential community with honest, reliable HVAC service. In just over two years, the company has grown to 13 employees and completed over 10,000 jobs — earning a 4.9-star rating from 520+ Google reviews along the way.

Chayse Roth
Co-Owner
10+ years HVAC
Chayse served in the United States Marine Corps from 2001 to 2013 and has called NC home since being stationed at Camp Lejeune in 2004. He has over 10 years in the air quality and HVAC industry and holds an MBA from the University of Mount Olive. Chayse lives in Wilmington with his wife and daughter, enjoys the coastal lifestyle, and has a passion for fitness and cool homes.
Joe Alig
Co-Owner & License Holder
20+ years HVAC
Joe retired from the USMC Reserves in 2024 with over 20 years of HVAC experience, beginning with his enlisted time in the Marines. He holds an MBA from UNCW and lives in Wilmington with his wife and daughter. Joe has a passion for motorcycles, flying helicopters, and fixing air conditioners.
Savannah Huffman
CSR & Installation Coordinator
5 years HVAC
Savannah is a Wilmington native with five years of HVAC experience. She coordinates customer service and installations, ensuring every project runs smoothly from first call to completed job. She enjoys spending time with her family and boating.
Eli Burr
Service Manager
12 years HVAC
Eli was one of Air Support's first hires and brings 12 years of HVAC experience to the team. He holds his EPA license and is certified in ductwork design and air flow diagnostics. Originally from Texas, Eli is a BBQ expert who also enjoys fishing and boating.
Bryan Freeman
Service Technician
4 years HVAC
Bryan has four years of experience and on-the-job HVAC training. He grew up in NC and loves playing golf. Bryan is known for his excellent customer communication skills.
Ashley Bowen
Service Technician
14 years HVAC
Ashley has 14 years of HVAC experience and is a graduate of Cape Fear Community College's HVAC program. He maintains his EPA 1 and 2 certifications and is a native of eastern NC. He once rescued a kitten from inside an air duct!
Jeffery Renolds

Jeff has 10 years of HVAC experience and maintains an EPA license. Originally from Massachusetts, he's a huge Patriots fan who loves the weather in eastern NC.
